Diversity
Our organization aspires to be multi-cultural rather than pluralistic. Diversity is not just something to be considered to meet compliance quotas. Diversity is in our everyday lives and it is unavoidable and valuable! Aside from being a part of the day to day, diversity provides many benefits in terms of its effects on our performance as an organization. Organizations that are diverse tend to operate with reduced biases/group think. They experience increased accuracy, as information is processed more carefully. Finally, organizations that are diverse innovate more. Their varying points of view and life experiences provide each person with different problem solving tools and ways of looking at a problem.
