Decision Making and Conflict

Decision making and conflict go hand in hand. When a conflict arises, decisions must be made to address said conflict. Our decision making process encourages our staff to think critically about the issue which we are trying to solve. Our process involves asking questions before creating solutions.

Functional Conflict:

    • Enhanced performance

    • Positive impact on organizational culture

  • Dysfunctional Conflict:

    • Detrimental to organization goals​

    • Decreased performance

    • Negative impact on organizational culture

Gather and evaluate data that informs our organizational culture, values, beliefs.

Examine/Explore best and worst-case scenarios.

Select the 'best' scenario.
